It's not actually 15 years but close enough. Anyways what that applies to is the fact that after owning and playing the same Mega Drive games for I dunno how long things finally changed this weekend. We took a trip around Stafford to find out just what it had to offer and it turns out the answer is quite a lot. First and most importantly we found a shop which specializes in electronics, including gaming of atleast the last few generations and seeing as their prices weren't bad we purchased 6 new megadrive games, finally adding the the list which has been the same for so long. They were:
-Castle of Illusion/Quackshot 2 pack
-World of Illusion
-Flash Back
-Taz-MAnia
-Taz in escape from Mars
-Primal Rage
They all seem at least decent so when we get home they'll be given a try out.
Whilst we were there I also tried my luck and asked if they had any SNES controllers in stock (we've been buying snes games every so often lately but they're not gonna be much fun if we only have the one controller). He had a root around in a box and found one although it was a bit grotty looking and had a few bare wires which had been wrapped in miles of brown tape. Because it was in such a state he said that I could have it for free so now Im gonna have to take it apart and give it the once over.
Also on offer in Stafford were Gamestation, Game and ChiPS so they pretty much have all their bases covered which I a good thing.

Moving on from shopping exploits and talk of 16 bit gaming theres not really much else to comment on. If you look through my gallery you'll see that I recently uploaded a pic of myself dressed as Rorschach from Watchmen. That was me testing out my halloween costume which was worn to a party a few weeks ago. All in all it was pretty good except for Darth Vader falling down the stairs and landing on me at the bottom as well as misplacing my mask but thankfully mask and head are now reunited so all is good.
Art wise I havent really done much lately. Reason being is that I'm spending more time reading tutorials on how to draw things, most importantly the human body and hair, to kinda improve my skills and to prevent all characters I draw from having generic hair.

I think thats about it for this update. One final thing to say is to keep an eye on my youtube channel as I'll probably upload some more vids and not necessarily just GMod ones, I might be bold and go for a tutorial in sketchup or something, who knows.
